Our team is responsible for coordinating developing and delivering key activities and products including managing correspondence to Parliamentarians stakeholders and clients as well as a dedicated Parliamentarian telephone line. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining strong relationships and ensuring all responses are timely accurate and aligned with organisational values. You will work closely with colleagues at all levels including Scottish Government Parliamentarians and their staff providing vital support to the Executive Team Cabinet Secretary and Ministers.

Experience
experience in managing multiple priorities and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced customer focussed or support environment demonstrating strong organisational skills.
ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats including drafting professional correspondence and providing concise verbal updates with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Working pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week and we offer a range of flexible working options depending on the needs of the role. We embrace a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices. There is an expectation of a minimum 2 days per week in your assigned location which will be either Glasgow or you have specific questions about the role you are applying for please contact us.

Further Information
This role is only available to existing permanent civil servants who have successfully completed their probation period within Social Security Scotland or the broader Scottish Government.
