Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Safety Mindset: leads frontline workers to ensure team operates confidently and safely. Initiates regular and proactive discussions with team on safety matters to embed a health safety & wellbeing culture.
- Afternoon Operations: Oversee the loading/unloading of Pick-Up and Delivery (PUD) fleet and outbound Linehaul/Rail while also managing the Check Weight Cube functions ensuring accurate freight loading.
- Operations Efficiency: Ensures the team is focused on the key priorities to support the delivery of effective outcomes that drive financial performance and meet customer needs.
- Operational Management: Plans and prioritises activities for the team to work efficiently and maintain customer centricity and quality of work.
- Leadership & Development: Demonstrates enables and holds others accountable for nurturing inclusivity and behaviours aligned with the Northline values. Disseminates key organisational messages to their team and shares/ escalates relevant information to their manager from their team. Designs and implements assignments to generate learning and development for their team.
