Perform final visual and physical inspections on power wheelchairs to meet order specifications production standards and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations
Inspect finished product for defects or imperfections in aesthetics and function
Ensure conformance to order specifications and FDA regulations
Operate and perform inspection on all test fixtures within the department
Utilize the Matrix/ProductionWare system and ensure that all pertinent product information is documented and recorded onto the Device History Record (DHR)
Use a team-oriented approach and communicate concerns and issues to management
Perform duties assigned and with minimal supervision
Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
Focus on continuous improvement and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
Assist with organization and cleaning of work area keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
Must be a team player friendly detail-oriented and honest
Must have the ability to:
Multi-task problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
Read and interpret work instructions work orders inspection criteria tape measures policies and procedures
Utilize testing and inspection equipment
Identify and record data with complete accuracy
Lift/push/pull up to 40lbs.
Work extended hours including weekends as business needs dictate
Must have:
Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
Good verbal and written communication skills
At least 6 months of Quality Assurance experience OR at least 1 year of experience in a hands-on assembly or manufacturing role
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment performing visual and physical inspections on an assembled mechanical product preferred
Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred
American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification preferred
