We are looking for an experienced Power Strategy specialist to join our Energy team. As part of our team youll have the opportunity to make a profound impact driving the transition towards a cleaner and greener world.

Your role will be to provide guidance and strategic advice to existing and new clients in navigating the complex world of power regulation markets renewable energy and grid interconnection. You will be a trusted adviser supportingregulatorsdevelopers investors and power users in making informed decisions that align with their sustainability goals.

As a Power Strategy Consultant / Senior Consultant you will be involved on projects such as:

• Produce cost-benefit analysis for clean power infrastructure on behalf of asset owners / investors
• Support regulators in designing and/or reforming power market platforms
• Help develop corporate strategies and integrated resource plans for power utilities
• Assess and advise on diversification of investment portfolio for renewable IPPs and articulate procurement strategy

We encourage you to apply for this role if you have the following key competencies and significant and demonstrable experience:

Essential

• University and masters degree inenergyeconomics / economic regulationelectrical or mechanicalengineeringor similar.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of power markets energy policy framework and technical regulations.
• Understanding of the complete energy ecosystem from generation transmissiondistributionand associated infrastructure with the ability to help conceptualise overall solution for prospective clients.
• Familiarity with power regulation frameworks and power market design topics.
• Understanding and experience with energy system modelling and use of least-cost planning and least-cost dispatch tools (such as PLEXOS)
• Advance analytical and quantitative skills with an aptitude for complex quantitative analysisstatisticsand use of large data sets.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Native or professional-level competence in English .

Desirable

• Experience and expertise with financial and/or economic analysis of renewable power and/or hydrogen projects.
• Successfultrack record in project management and leading teams.
• Experience with public and private sector customers.
• Experience of renewable power resource assessment identification of optimum mix (solar wind BESS Hydro etc.) with the ability to define overall system configurationbest suited for deployment considering comprehensive techno-economic evaluation
