WORK SCHEDULE:

Work just 3 days a weekand enjoy a 4-day weekend!
This position follows a Thursday through Saturday 5:00 AM 5:00 PM schedule.
Youll earn full-time hours in just three days giving you four consecutive days off each week to recharge or focus on personal priorities.

  • Overtime pay for any hours worked over 10 per day

  • Consistent daytime hoursno rotating shifts!

SUMMARY

Tend and operate production machines such as SMT Pick & Place Through-Hole Component Insertion Sequencing Machine Wave Flow and Reflow Solder Machines. Level 2 of 3 of the Machine Operator classification

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read and interpret job specifications to determine appropriate machine adjustments and material requirements
  • Set up machinery and complete all scheduled maintenance (daily and weekly) in accordance with documented procedures
  • Operate machinery to run the product efficiently and with a high level of quality
  • Monitor machine operation to identify workpiece defects or potential malfunctions
  • Troubleshoot and correct machine errors that cause product defects
  • Perform online troubleshooting and machine programming as needed
  • Adhere to all quality policies procedures and standards
  • Meet or exceed established efficiency and utilization targets
  • Actively participate in team and workgroup activities as a positive dependable and adaptable team member
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives to improve processes and reduce waste
  • Provide input in problem-solving activities and communicate effectively across teams
  • Understand and strive to meet machine efficiency and quality goals
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work area in compliance with safety standards
  • This position requires on-site work; consistent daily attendance is an essential function of the role

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One-year certificate from a college or technical school or two years of relevant equipment operation experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic data entry skills for performing standard system transactions
  • Ability to read speak and understand English to support clear communication and comprehension of documentation
  • Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division
  • Ability to interpret and understand performance graphs and related data
  • Understanding of product quality standards and the ability to assess product compliance based on written documentation
  • May require the use of a respirator; medical clearance must be obtained as needed

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Must achieve passing score on the Milwaukee Electronics Component Identification course.
  • Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Workmanship standards exam.

Frequent use of hands and arms is necessary for tasks such as pointing handling materials and reaching. The employee may be required to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds.

Visual requirements for this role include close and distance vision color differentiation peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus with or without reasonable accommodation.
