Job Description
Job Goal:The Summer College & Career Advisor will work with rising seniors in the August before their senior year to provide college and career support.
Responsibilities:
- Individual meetings with students.
- Weekly college essay workshops.
- Weekly Common App workshops.
- Small group meetings with students to complete tasks; including brag sheets and Naviance tasks.
- Financial Aid transition - due to FAFSA delays students will receive financial aid packages and need support further into the summer
Terms of Employment:
- Seasonal / Yearly Appointment
- July7 2025 - August 22 2025
- 15-20 hours of workshops and small group meetings
- 5-10 hours planning workshops
- 30-50 hours of individual meetings and follow up
- 5-10 hours of emails communication texts to students and families
- Work to be conducted outside of regular work schedule
Stipend:
- $2700 maximum 90 hours/$30 per hour
- Summer College & Career Advisor will submit a weekly timesheet documenting hours/work.
