Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Mammography Technologist to join our healthcare team in Houston TX. This is a lead-level position that offers the opportunity to not only perform high-quality mammograms but also take on leadership duties such as scheduling quality
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist in training and onboarding of new mammography technologists.
- Lead daily scheduling of patients and ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct quality control reviews and help prepare for Joint Commission audits.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care and imaging accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of Mammography Technologist experience.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Mammography Technology.
- Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license or temporary license.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R).
- Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M).
