Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Program Manager with 5 to 8 years of experience to support cross-functional coordination contract management and program execution for small to mid-scale projects. This is a transitional customer-facing role ideal for someone with experience in program leadership cost analysis and schedule management. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in Defense or Aerospace environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare negotiate and manage contract proposals amendments and terms in accordance with company policies.
  • Develop and maintain master program schedules budgets and authorization documents.
  • Track and report cost schedule and technical performance; recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain contract documentation including funding records deliverables and correspondence.
  • Coordinate the preparation and timely submission of customer reports and program documentation.
  • Support the Program Manager with cost analysis program reviews and strategic planning.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external customers ensuring consistent and effective communication.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering or a related field.

Experience

  • 5 to 8 years of program/project management experience preferably involving U.S. government contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience in at least the following areas: proposal development cost tracking customer interface and schedule management.
  • Background in Defense or Aerospace program lifecycle and production timing is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ITAR compliance is a strong plus.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).

  • Excellent verbal written and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Clearance & Work Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required.

  • Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

  • On-site position; 100% in-person attendance required.
