Responsibilities:

  • Drive the monthly quarterly and annual Matterport planning cycles bringing past experience to help scale our processes and ensure continued accuracy and analysis in each quarterly cycle.
  • Monthly reporting against the forecasts and budgets providing insights and analysis to assist the business leaders in improving financial performance.
  • Own and manage the Matterport corporate financial forecast model and assist with Long Term strategic financial planning
  • Serve as the business partner to Matterports R&D Hardware Product Marketing and G&A leadership providing sound financial guidance analysis reporting & decision making
  • Own and manage Matterports product and project P&L projections and business cases with high predictability considering all operational aspects and their impacts on the corporate financials
  • COGS forecasting and analysis for SaaS and hardware and develop recommendations for optimization
  • Continuously identify and communicate all risks and opportunities against the budget and/or forecast(s)
  • Bring a collaborative hands-on approach to your work developing open communications and productive work relationships across the Finance organization.
  • Develop financial models for new product introductions and work with product owners marketing team and engineering team on developing projections and ROI.
  • Financial analysis on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting finance economics or a related field from an accredited not-for-profit University or College.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • 3 years FP&A experience in a public traded SaaS company
  • Strong business acumen excellent communication skills and superior analytical skills
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel
  • Prior experience in software engineering/technology a plus
