Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager and Bookkeeper to join our team and help streamline day-to-day operations while providing critical support to our Executive team. This hybrid role combines strategic operations management with hands-on financial oversight ideal for someone who is detail-oriented proactive and thrives in a fast-paced remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimise daily business operations including process improvement IT coordination and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Manage administrative tasks for the Executive team including calendar scheduling internal and external communication meeting preparation and follow-ups.
  • Perform end-to-end bookkeeping duties manage payroll monitor cash flow prepare budgets and deliver accurate financial reports promptly.
  • Lead onboarding and training initiatives for internal staff. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making.

Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant or Bookkeeper with a degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping.
  • Proven leadership problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Xero Microsoft Office and cloud-based SaaS platforms.
