Job Summary:

The Director of Power Services will focus on the safe and profitable execution of large and technically complex power services at Pinnacle Live venues. This is accomplished by providing support to venue staffs in the form of training and educational materials assistance with power services-related capex requests and safety training for Pinnacle Live team members that handle high-voltage systems in the course of their work.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development department to provide power services training to the field with an emphasis on safety
  • Participate in the sales and pre-planning process for large and/or technically complex power services orders
  • Assist venue team members with load calculation and drop placement to ensure appropriate power distribution equipment and services are being sold
  • Confirm the equipment and labor assets assigned to upcoming power services orders are adequate to meet the needs of the event
  • Maintain good relationships with outside power services labor and equipment vendors to fulfill needs outside of Pinnacle equipment inventory
  • Manage quality assurance during the event execution and create documentation to support qualify assurance/standards
  • Collaborate with venue staff to ensure optimal delivery of power services within budget parameters and meeting/exceeding client expectations
  • Maintain a presence in Pinnacle Lives client relationship-building processes by regularly attending meetings related to the sales planning and execution of power services events Provide development opportunities for Pinnacles full-time team members to maximize their effectiveness in their current roles prepare them for future roles and ensure their success when scheduled to set or strike power services
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of three (3) years industry-related operational sales and financial management
experience in a power services environment

Familiarity with live events associated sales and operational processes

Required Skills & Knowledge:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed herein are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong supervisory and leadership experience managing direct remote teams and contract
labor

Extensive knowledge of the principles procedures and best practices in the industry

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Effective relationship management skills and experience

Strong financial acumen

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

Ability to interpret CAD drawings related to live events

Ability to successfully manage corporate growth initiatives
