Job Description
Lazy River At Granville is looking for an energetic team member to add to our Gift Shop and Snack Bar team. The Shift Supervisor would be responsible for coaching other team members working on the gift shop floor and in the kitchen at the snack bar. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for handling guest concerns and insuring they are addressed and referred to the appropriate person to assist if they are unable to do so. After training for this position additional duties and responsibilities may be added.
*Must be available to work until 8 pm Sunday-Thursday and 10 pm Friday/Saturday. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
This position is available up to full time (40 hours per week) now through October 31.
If the team member meets certain goals and displays the ability to work independently and meet goals (including sales goals) there is a potential opportunity for hours through the winter. Approximately 20 hours per week would be available for the winter position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead other team members in meeting goals and completing projects
- Providing excellent customer service during all interactions
- Demo store items
- Run register for store check-out
- Assisting guests with questions about local tourist attractions
- Maintaining a clean and professional work space
- Stocking store products as necessary
- Work in Snack Bar (Ice Cream Pizza fried food etc.)
Key Knowledge Skills and Ability Required:
- Knowledge of office equipment including: computer telephone system copy machine fax machine etc
- Skill in oral and written communication
- Ability to relate to adults and youth
- Organization and task completion
- You may be assigned other duties as necessary
- Health and Safety conscious
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Preferred
- Customer Service Experience Preferred
- Able to work independently and as a team player
- Interact in a friendly enthusiastic energetic and outgoing manner with team members and guests in any setting
- Pleasant and courteous
- Ability to use time efficiently and possess good organizational skills
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
