Job Description:
A Mechanical/Assistant Engineerassists in the design development and testing of mechanical systems and equipment.They play a crucial role in supporting senior engineers contributing to project execution and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Design and Development:This includes tasks like preparing plans cost estimates and specifications for mechanical systems (e.g. HVAC plumbing piping).
- Project Support:Providing support in various project phases including design fabrication installation and testing.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance:Assisting in diagnosing and resolving issues with mechanical systems and equipment and potentially performing repairs.
- Quality Assurance:Conducting inspections tests and simulations to ensure that systems and components meet required standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:Preparing reports blueprints and other project documentation.
- Compliance:Ensuring that projects and work activities adhere to relevant codes regulations and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration:Working closely with senior engineers and other team members to achieve project goals.
- Problem Solving:Applying technical knowledge and skills to address engineering challenges.
- Budget Management:Assisting in tracking and managing project budgets.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles systems and components.
