Estimator for General Contracting Remodels and Insurance Remediation/Restoration
Copper Sky Contracting is a leading provider of general contracting services specializing in remodels and insurance remediation/restoration projects. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality timely and cost-effective solutions to our clients. As we continue to expand our operations we are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for an experienced Estimator who will play a pivotal role in our project management process. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in estimating costs preparing bids and managing budgets for general contracting remodels and insurance remediation/restoration projects. This individual will collaborate closely with our project managers subcontractors and clients to ensure accurate estimations and successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project blueprints specifications and other documentation to accurately estimate material labor and equipment costs.
- Prepare detailed and competitive bids for general contracting remodels and insurance remediation/restoration projects.
- Collaborate with project managers subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and quotes.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements and budgetary constraints.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimations.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to streamline the estimation process and enhance accuracy.
- Prepare and present estimates budgets and proposals to clients stakeholders and management.
- Monitor and track project expenses budgets and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams subcontractors vendors and clients to address any questions concerns or modifications related to estimates and budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry with specific expertise in general contracting remodels and insurance remediation/restoration projects.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes regulations and industry standards.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
