Job Description

ESOL Teacher Windham School District #95

Windham NH

2025-2026School Year

To provide instruction to English Language Learners at the elementary School level in the Windham School District as well asimplement best practices in ESOL teaching methodology.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Coordinate the development of Individual Language Plans for students receiving ESOL services.
  2. Collaborate with other ESOL Teachers to scheduleappropriate times to work with students in and/or outside the classroom.
  3. Assist classroom teachers with modifications that will support the ESOL student.
  4. Collect performance data on each child and share it with appropriate personnel to make program decisions for each child.
  5. Coordinate ESOL services with the Special Education Teams as appropriate.
  6. Communicate with parents and attend meetings when necessary.
  7. Order appropriate supplies and materials to support the ESOL program.
  8. Assist with writing the Title III grant to ensure compliance with NHDOE requirements.
  9. Conduct W-APT and ACCESS testing.
