Nelson Mullins an AmLaw 60 firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in our Huntington office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative fast-paced team that handles complex litigation matters.
Were seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our teamsomeone who brings at least six years of law firm litigation experience and understands the critical role a paralegal plays throughout the litigation life cycle. From case preparation through trial you will serve as a key contributor to our legal teams success.
In this role you will take ownership of case calendars monitor court deadlines and ensure timely electronic filing in both federal and state courts under attorney supervision. Youll conduct online research draft pleadings notices and motions and play a hands-on role in trial preparation. Youll also be responsible for requesting and summarizing medical records and compiling medical chronologies for attorney review.
Were looking for someone who is organized detail oriented and adaptable. You should be comfortable managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy in your work. Strong critical thinking skills initiative and a team-first mindset are essential for success in this role.
A two- or four-year degree and a paralegal certificate are preferred though equivalent work experience will be considered. Familiarity with legal research tools and the flexibility to work overtime when needed are also important.
