Academic Program Specialist II
(Working Title: Coordinator Office of Global Learning)
Bachelors degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A) Advise students in the International Scholars and Peace Corps Prep programs. This includes advising on the programs academic and co-curricular requirements.
B) Track students progress update records maintain website and Canvas shell and prepare reports.
C) Update and improve online and printed support materials by generating program manuals updating the Canvas shell and producing orientation and instructional videos.
D) Lead in-person and online orientation and workshops for ISP and Peace Corps Prep students including eportfolio showcases and graduation ceremonies.
E) Mentor students individually on the development of their eportfolios
F) Recruit manage and train the ISP Ambassadors
G) Organize co-curricular international activities in collaboration with other campus units (i.e. Career Connections Center)
H) Collaborate with Peace Corps recruiter
I) Collaborate with other International Center (i.e. Study Abroad Services International Student Services) units as needed
Outreach marketing and communication
B) Present and represent the International Scholars and Peace Corps Prep programs to diverse audiences across campus through presentations including preview and tabling events.
