Propane Tech

Duties and Responsibilities change with the seasons:

• Drive a bobtail or bulk delivery truck to customer sites to fill all size tanks for both residential and commercial
• Deliveries range from 20 30 customer stops on a typical day
• Operate machinery to move tanks as necessary (crane dolly pallet jack etc)
• Operate vehicle and all equipment in safe and professional manner following all State and Federal laws
• Follow all company procedures and safety protocols
• Cooperate with the team and share information across the organization
• Maintain company vehicles tools and equipment in proper condition
• Perform company related maintenance of tanks bulk plants equipment etc.
• On-call rotation for after-hour emergencies Technician must have a strong focus on safety and preventative maintenance.

Licenses and/or Certifications:

• CDL B
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or ability to obtain
• Driving experience
• Willing to obtain gas certifications Gas fitter license
• Mechanically inclined
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean driving history
• Clean Background Check
• Must be able to pass Random Drug tests
• Positive Attitude and Willing to work
• Ability to lift bend climb pull push equipment in propane environment. Minimum of 50 pounds.
• Work/Drive during weather conditions such as heavy rain snow ice etc.

Blue Flame is a small family-owned propane company. We provide everything from installation of new tanks gas piping andregular deliveries. We service both residential and commercial needs. We provide temporary heat during construction phases of a project through maintaining supply during daily operations we meet all of our customers demands for propane and services.
