Job Description
Must have reliable transportation will be floated to Vineland/Elmer if needed. The Patient Care Technician takes direction from the registered nurse. The main functions are to maintain a safe clean environment in patient rooms and service areas assists licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitoring health and vital signs. Experience: High School graduate or equivalent. 2 years experience as a CNACMA OR PCT required in an ACUTE setting. Must have patient bedside experience; taking vitals etc. Certification/Licensure: CNA PCT OR CMA accepted. AHA BLSrequired. General Info Weekend Requirements: Every Other Scrub Color: Steel Grey Holiday: Every other RTO: No more than 3 days First Day Instructions Sent by Inspira directly to the worker by 5pm the Friday prior to Monday start. The worker will receive three emails from Inspira. link for Monday which is a virtual orientation day. a. They will attend a Teams meeting and then continue the day with at your pace modules. to schedule orientation classes. a. Classes take place Tuesday-Thursday and the candidate MUST attend. If they try to reschedule or miss a class they will not be able to complete their assignment. POCT class is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd week of the assignment. Please ensure your worker has their POCT class date and remembers to attend. Email- scheduling an ID Badge appointment and review policy/procedure. a. The ID badge is very important to obtain prior to their Orientation Shift. This is how the candidate clocks in and out which is how invoicing/billing occurs! *Workers must be available for the full 7 days of their first week for Orientation. No special scheduling for Orientation is permitted.
