Your Job
What this role looks like.
- Managing technical SAP projects with a focus on SAP BASIS activities such as deploying SAP systems in a high-availability setup on both private and public cloud infrastructures
- Providing support with technical upgrades of various S/4 and NetWeaver systems
- Managing system landscape refreshes using third-party or standard SAP tools
- Introduction and further development of an integrated and global system landscape (SAP & non-SAP) for various projects across ALDI
- Providing support in other areas such as downtime management for complex SAP and non-SAP systems managing and governing the flow of changes to the production landscape
- Evaluating new technologies and technical tools for the continuous improvement of the system landscape architecture
- Checking external partners and collaborating closely with other IT teams and specialist departments
- Coordinating and moderating project meetings workshops and presentations for internal/external stakeholders
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- Ideally studies with a focus on information technology or computer science
- Good understanding of the complex SAP system architecture and the underlying infrastructure and how the database architecture influences high availability
- Experience working in an international environment and collaborating closely with cross-functional tech and business teams (internal/external)
- Experience managing technical project implementation upgrades and development projects in the SAP environment (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA)
- Analytical and structured way of thinking and working positive mindset and passion for working in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills and business English skills
