The School
The role is within our School of AppliedSciences and Technology. The departments within the School are located on our Grande Prairie campus and our Fairview campus. The School offers a variety of programminginFine Arts Humanities and SocialSciencesSciences and Animal Health Technology. Through this programmingwe offer a variety of certificates diplomas university transfer coursesas well as a degree in computingscience.
The Role
This position offers a chance to work with small university-level classes (maximum class size is 40) and introduce students to the ideas and approaches of Indigenous Studies. The successful candidate will teach a range of Indigenous Studies courses both to students pursuing the field in greater depth and in support of Indigenization of other programs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
A Masters degree in a relevant academic discipline (e.g. Indigenous Studies Anthropology Sociology History)is required with a PhD preferred. Evidence of successful post-secondary instruction is an asset. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:
