The Company
Our client is a privately owned boutique building contractor that specialises in commercial new build fit out and refurbishment. The have secured ongoing negotiated work with several national brands from the retail and hospitality sectors as well as positioning themselves well with works associated with the 2032 Olympics here in Brisbane.
Due to this ongoing success and clear revenue projections they are predicting steady growth in what is an incredibly exciting time for the business.
The Role
Our client wants to add a new Foreman to the team in Brisbane. Working closely with the Construction Manager you will work on a mixture of fit out and refurbishment projects and new build up to $3m. The majority of the work will be in commercial retail and hospitality.
About you
Most importantly you will be a humble team player. You will be a Carpenter or Joiner by Trade and have 5 years experience working on projects of a similar scope and size. You will have strong tenure in the Brisbane market and be supported by excellent references.
You will need to be a good communicator both written and verbal comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team. You will have experience managing Apprentices and Junior Site Staff.
You will program your work 2 weeks in advance and drive the relevant trades to meet the safety and quality targets required.
The Benefits.
You will join a close-knit team that trusts you to perform. There is a salary of up to $150k Super for the right candidate. You will have your own Ute but will be given a Etoll Pass and Fuel Card. Work is not programmed for Saturdays unless there is time that needs to be made up.
