As a Maintenance Planner youll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Youll be responsible for developing and coordinating maintenance plans that align with operational needs staffing levels budgets and ongoing projects. In this role youll collaborate closely with multiple departments to ensure maintenance activities are efficient compliant with regulations and support overall business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Forecastmaintenance needs by developing long- and short-term plans that minimize disruptions to operations staffing budgets and projects

  • Coordinatethe procurement of necessary parts materials and tools for maintenance activities

  • Developschedules and assemble work packages for planned maintenance tasks

  • Overseeadministrative aspects of maintenance planning including budgeting labor forecasting and job costing

  • Collaboratewith Operations to align fleet downtime with available operating hours

  • Ensureall scheduled maintenance is completed within designated timeframes

  • Supportthe maintenance team in managing minimum equipment lists deferred defects and recurring issue tracking

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; college trade or technical diploma preferred

  • At least 4 years in maintenance with a strong preference for planning experience

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint) and familiar with maintenance planning tools and documentation

  • Skilled in budgeting job costing and identifying process improvements

  • Strong written and verbal communication with keen attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly organized task-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities with sound judgment
