Job Description
Career Technical Education Resource Teacher
PC# 3603
Qualifications: Valid Alabama Teachers certificate with a bachelors degree or above. Certification in Career Technical Education. Minimum of five years successful teaching experience in a Career Technical Program. Experience in managing multi-dimensional job responsibilities to include effective written and oral communication team building and organizational skills to accomplish a variety of activities simultaneously. Experience in managing budgets for local state and/or federal funding agencies desired. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Reports to: Supervisor Career and Technical Education
Job Goal: To help ensure that teachers have up-to-date knowledge of and materials and methods needed to teach; to facilitate greater interaction between business and education and to promote awareness of career paths for students.
Terms of Employment: Twelve-month contract (240 days).
