In addition we offer our Corporates Access incl. the hosting of Nordic roadshows and capital markets days.

As the Head of Equity Research SE you will lead our equity research team taking responsibility for delivering strong business results and driving functional excellence in research coverage. You will ensure your direct reports understand how their targets and research coverage align with the broader organizational strategy. Alongside the Head of Equity Sales SE you will drive the financial performance in Equities SE and be a key member of the ES&R Management team.

You will be leading a client centric organisation with a strong performance culture and as part of your role you will be responsible for influencing and delivering on the strategy and ensuring the buy-in of key stakeholders. You will lead collaboration across the full value chain and contribute to the development of Nordeas overall competitive advantage.

Key focus areas will be:

• Lead the Swedish ES&R organisation and set the strategic direction for the unit together with the Head of Sales.
• Deliver market leading Equity Research product
• Ensure clear line of sight between research activities and business outcomes
• Engage and motivate the research team to achieve excellence
• Create a high-performance culture focused on quality and client impact
• Support our Tech and AI strategy
• Ensure a strong and efficient cooperation within IB&E CRUs and across the whole Nordea
• Lead motivate and develop your team with passion and foster a culture of inclusion collaboration and growth
• Ensure the highest standards of compliance with rules and regulations

The ES&R organisation consists of more than 100 people working at our trading floors in all Nordic countries and London.

The role is based in Stockholm and the new Head of Equity Research SE will report to Head of Equity Sales & Research (ES&R) Jesper Jensen and as a member of the ES&R Leadership Team you will be part of setting and executing the strategic business plan.

Your experience and background:

• Prior experience as senior equity research analyst
• ES&R business product and technology knowledge
• Track record from the large corporates and institutions business
• Proven experience and passion for creating excellent customer satisfaction
• Passion for leading developing and motivating your organisation & people
• Prior experience building a culture of inclusion and growth
• Business-minded and result-oriented background
• Displaying high intellectual capacity and a high level of ambition
• Superior stakeholder management skills
