Lead Manufacturing Systems Engineer
Omagh
Salary up to 42000 plus bonus
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join a global leader in manufacturing at their Omagh site. Reporting to the Production Control Manager you will play a key role in driving the development and improvement of manufacturing systems and leading a high-performing engineering team.

The Role
- Oversee and improve manufacturing systems processes and equipment within a fast-paced environment
- Manage and develop a small team of manufacturing systems engineers
- Lead small to medium-sized engineering projects from initiation to completion
- Implement Lean Manufacturing practices including 5S Kanban and Standard Work
- Own BOM creation and management including Make/Buy decisions and outsourcing activities
- Provide day-to-day support to production departments and assist with new product and process development
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all manufacturing operations
The Person
- Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Manufacturing or related engineering discipline
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and process improvement techniques
- Excellent communication and project management skills
