Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and business-minded Commercial Real Estate Attorney to handle a broad range of sophisticated real estate matters. You will work directly with clients to structure and execute complex deals. This role suits a practical attorney who thrives in a small-firm environment and is eager to grow their practice through hands-on client engagement and deal management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transactions involving acquisitions dispositions leasing (retail office industrial) and development.
- Draft and negotiate key documents including purchase and sale agreements leases financing agreements and joint venture contracts.
- Advise clients on entity formation due diligence zoning title and survey issues.
- Manage financing transactions such as construction loans permanent financing and refinancings.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with developers investors and institutional clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of substantive transactional real estate experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong expertise in commercial leasing acquisitions development and financing transactions.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
- Admission to the state bar or ability to waive in.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to originate business (preferred for Junior Partner candidates).
- Exceptional skills in drafting negotiation and client management.
