Job Description

RN/Labor & Delivery Permanent Role
  • Location: Irving TX 75061
  • Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients including monitoring fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs.
  • Assist physicians and midwives during labor delivery and immediate postpartum care.
  • Administer medications IVs and epidurals as prescribed.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations (e.g. hemorrhage fetal distress).
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during childbirth.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Ensure a clean safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • RN Registered Nurse (State of Texas)
    • BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Labor & Delivery.
