About:
Looking for a dependable Plant Mechanic to handle maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on equipment such as tractors trailers forklifts and conveyor systems. The role includes preventive maintenance installation and mechanical diagnostics to maintain peak performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance cleaning lubrication and inspections.
- Repair and replace worn or faulty parts; align and calibrate machinery.
- Use precision tools (e.g. micrometers plumb bobs lasers) for accurate equipment positioning.
- Assemble disassemble install or relocate equipment using hand and power tools.
- Service hydraulic and pneumatic systems including hoses valves and cylinders.
- Conduct stick welding and oxy-acetylene cutting as needed.
- Splice and track various conveyor belts.
- Execute preventive maintenance in line with established schedules.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
- Interpret technical manuals schematics and internal documentation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
- High School diploma required; technical training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years in a plant maintenance or similar mechanical role.
- Expertise in mechanical systems and strong leadership qualities.
- High level of dedication integrity and motivation.
- Driven to contribute to team success and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
