Job Description
Seeking a skilled Plant Controller to lead financial operations at the facility partnering closely with the Plant Manager and leadership team. This role will oversee financial reporting budgeting inventory and cost accounting KPI tracking and profitability analysis. Note: Cash A/R and A/P functions are handled by a centralized shared services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly financial reporting budgeting forecasting and KPI tracking.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Oversee inventory accounting including subledger reconciliation and cycle counts.
- Develop and maintain standard costs; analyze variances and BOM impacts.
- Support capital project tracking and asset management.
- Provide cost margin and profitability analysis to support pricing and operations.
- Ensure accurate sales data and assist in forecasting and inventory reviews.
- Act as ERP system expert for plant-level usage and improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive financial and operational performance.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 5 7 years of cost accounting/financial analysis in a complex manufacturing setting.
- Advanced Excel skills required; ERP power user experience highly valued.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead collaborate across functions and manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with solid decision-making and follow-through capabilities.
- Comfortable working in a diverse cross-functional environment.
