Job Description
Alegra Group is seeking an experienced Kubernetes Architect for a high-impact project with a global leader in electronics and manufacturing. The role involves designing a disconnected edge architecture using K3S on bare metal infrastructure supporting next-generation industrial systems.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative edge computing solutions deployed in large-scale high-performance environments.
Tasks
- Architect and implement a highly available disconnected edge Kubernetes platform using K3S.
- Design and configure Kubernetes storage networking and CNI plugins for robust scalable clusters.
- Manage deployments with Rancher and enable GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
- Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to develop resilient solutions for bare metal environments.
- Support testing documentation and tuning for production-grade edge setups.
Requirements
- 1015 years of experience in systems architecture with deep expertise in Kubernetes (K3S) and bare metal deployments.
- Hands-on experience with Rancher ArgoCD and Kubernetes networking/storage stacks.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Python and/or Golang.
- Familiar with virtualization edge computing and air-gapped environments.
- Proactive mindset strong troubleshooting skills and excellent collaboration abilities.
