Job Description
- Design and implement effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of primary students.
- Develop and integrate engaging teaching materials that promote language comprehension and expression.
- Utilize various instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and adjust lessons accordingly.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
- Encourage and facilitate a love for reading through storytelling and literature discussions.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance interdisciplinary approaches and projects.
- Stay updated on best practices in teaching and educational technology.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills.
- Engage students in extracurricular activities related to language and literature.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance grades and assessments.
- Adapt teaching methods based on students needs interests and varying academic levels.
- Promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills through appropriate activities and discussions.
- Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification for primary education preferred.
- Proven experience in teaching English to primary students.
- Strong command of the English language both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with educational technology and online teaching tools.
- Ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with students parents and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Knowledge of different teaching methodologies and assessment strategies.
