Job Position: Diesel Mechanic
Pay Rate: $20.00$25.00/hour BOE
Shift/Hours: MondayFriday 2:00 PM 12:30 AM
Location: Tulsa OK 74107
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Position Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Tulsa. This position focuses on the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment including trucks trailers and hydraulic systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on diesel vehicles and trailers
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and mechanical components
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes brake checks and fluid level inspections
Use diagnostic tools to test systems and components
Ensure all vehicles meet performance and safety standards before returning them to service
Maintain accurate repair and service records
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean organized work area
Skills & Experience Requirements
13 years of experience as a diesel or general mechanic
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with shop equipment and diagnostic tools
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
