Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Junior Accountant for our client in Lagos Nigeria.
The Junior Accountant will provide support to the financial department manage daily accounting tasks and work as part of a team to maintain order and transparency in the organizations finances.
Responsibilities:
Post and process entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Update accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Assist in processing of financial statements in accordance with company accounting and financial guideline.
Update financial data to ensure information is accurate.
Prepare and submit weekly / monthly reports as needed.
Requirements
Excellent organizing abilities
Strong attention to detail
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP)
BSc/Ba in accounting finance or relevant field
