Who are we IPS is an international company with inhouse Engineering and specialized services across Project Management for industries Automation and Architecture. EPCM expertise more than ten countries around the globe but an entrepreneurial and teambuilding mindset.
Now we are looking for a Supply Chain Project Engineer to join our office in Madrid.
As an employee of IPS will actively participate in a wide range of projects in an Industrial environment. The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:
- Strategic Consulting: project master planning conceptual engineering.
- Project feasibility: process description plant layout overall time schedule procurement strategy financial plan.
- Project preparation phase: investment analysis basic engineering permitting financing and procurement.
- Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering construction management commissioning management operational management.
What is the role About
As a Supply Chain Project Engineer you will be involved in:
- Supply chain projects within the Food Industry Life Sciences Chemical Primary or Buildings.
- Simulation projects for operational and logistics purposes using Anylogic and FlexSim software to design the best logistic infrastructures.
- Study analysis and optimization of the supply chain.
- Analysis conceptual design procurement and supervision in a warehousing and transport implementation.
- Digital audit to analyse operational problems in factories and design of a strategy to reduce them.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in industrial engineering or any other related field.
- Master s degree in supply chain is a plus.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Industrial Supply chain or warehouse process improvement projects.
- Familiarity with Lean methodologies process mapping and warehouse KPIs is highly valued.
- Experience or knowledge in Simulation modeling using FlexSim Anylogic or other simulation software is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and English. French is a Plus
- Open to Mobility according to project needs. (20% to 60 %)
