Job Description

Main responsibilities:

What will be your mission

  • Act as DT&A Data migration lead your main activities will be:
    • Define the scope & strategy & planification of the migrations with the regions
    • Understand business requirements and translate into a mapping for the API with the regions.
    • Refine the data migration requirements with dev team.
    • Follow-up of all issues coming from iterative dry runs.
    • Help regional team to do the first reconciliation.
    • Participate to the migration over the weekends and find solutions during the weekend when needed (script or anything else).

What will be your duties & responsibilities

  • Learn and understand Atlas V2 data model and existing migration tools and process
  • Acquire the sufficient level of understanding of the legacy system to be able to properly migrate data
  • Coordinate communication between Global Regional IT teams internal LDC teams that might be involved in the data migration.
  • Ensure data migration are properly documented and with adequate reference material
  • Actively participate in ATLAS Deployment/Rollout activities as per the project requirements.

More specifically oversee:

  • Functional and technical Specifications: Review and finalize functional specifications. Refine with Dev team.
  • Testing and reconciliation: Provide guidance and support the regional business during the test campaigns.
  • Process Improvement: Identification of process improvements to the data migration activity.
  • Level 3 Support: Provide level 3 support. Investigate reported issues confirm business impact/urgency and properly categorize the incidents on data migration
  • Build and Maintain data management and data migration tools and processes.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in business or computer science
  • 5 years of experience in Migration and/or Data analyst and/or with API
  • 5 years in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills preferrable SQL Server
  • Experience working in Agile development environment Microsoft Azure Devops preferred
  • Good communication skills to translate business requirements into Mapping
  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other business
  • organizations; successful experience in working with diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment
  • International multi-cultural environment.

Preferred qualification:

  •  Experience with functional and technical aspects of major enterprise business systems and related technologies

Knowledge /Technical & Functional skills

  • Business Analysis backlog management.
  • Userss feedback analysis and management.
  • Strong SQL query writing skills
  • Understanding of basic (API) data integration and database (SQL) concepts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English) French is a plus.

  • Ability to move easily across different projects and initiatives to prioritize and manage many open cases at one time.
  • Curiosity and eagerness for exploring and understanding complex business processes.
  • Deep critical thinking attitude to be able to manage ambiguity and complexity comfortably.
  • Quick learner on new domains ramp up on knowledge curve easily ability to work independently and with little prompting.
  • Inclination to make improvements find new ideas and challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent in execution with natural sense of duty and urgency to drive the change.
  • Excellent teamwork communication & collaboration skills.
  • Strong analysis synthesis and communication capacity (written and oral) ability to negotiate and influence both internally and externally.
