Job Description
- Oversee daily activities of union crews ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Directs coordinates and maintains crew training as established by FOM policy.
- Ensure crews are aligned with company policies and procedures providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintains open communication channels with crews management regulatory agencies and unions to address any issues or concerns.
- Conducts monthly safety meetings maintains safety training records certifications and compliance.
- Evaluates candidate applications and serves on interview panels for vessel crews and dispatchers.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented proactive and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Successful candidates will also possess the following qualifications:
- 100 Ton Master License (preferred).
- 3 years of maritime experience on similar class of vessels or equivalent management experience in the marine industry
- Experience in supervising staff ideally within a unionized setting. (required).
- Proficient verbal written and interpersonal skills.
- Adept in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Established history of effective customer relations and personnel management.
Salary: $130000 - $135000 (DOE)
