Job Description
Primary Function of Position
The Sr Finance Manager for Real Estate & Workplace Services is responsible for managing and overseeing financial planning budgeting and reporting for facilities operations and capital expenditures. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing financial performance and ensuring strategic alignment with the organizations goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the budget for facilities and capital expenditures ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor financial performance and provide monthly reports on expenditures.
- Examine financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement in cost management.
- Partner with facilities management to plan and execute capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis related to facilities and CapEx investments.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on financial matters related to facilities and capital investments.
- Links the work of employees to our mission and leads in ways consistent with Intuitive culture and our Leadership Expectations.
- Builds credibility with the Finance function and business partners.
- Engage direct reports in meaningful career conversations
- Attracts hires and onboards top talent.
- Comprehends the organizations products and services with baseline industry knowledge.
- Delivers complex projects and solves complex problems with the team through partnership with business/other finance functions.
- Effectively reviews the work product of team members to ensure high quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in financial management with at least 3 years of experience managing CapEx. (Required)
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Exceptional statistical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and relational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Occasional travel may be required for site visits and meetings.
- This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale CA office Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday every week
Required Education and Training
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA CFA or equivalent is preferred.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in facilities management or construction finance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial modeling software.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools.
