Directly supervises employees in the Engineering department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
As a Maintenance Manager you will:
- Execute the strategic vision and direction for the Engineering department aligning with the resorts overall goals and objectives
- Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to the maintenance team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence while enforcing accountability
- Implement train and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
- Assist in managing the Engineering Departments budget reserves and capital expenditures P&L reviews and forecasting expenses
- Participate in the development and management of maintenance programs procedures and schedules to optimize the departments efficiency
- Support the planning and execution of major capital improvement projects from concept to completion ensuring adherence to quality standards budgets and timelines
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs safety concerns and areas for improvement
- Liaison with vendors contractors and suppliers to facilitate efficient and cost-effective maintenance operations
- Manage the procurement and inventory of all tools and materials purchased and/or assigned to the Engineering Department
- Develop documents using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
- Communicate professionally through radios phones emails and verbal communications

Qualifications :
- Valid state Drivers License
- At least 3 years of leadership experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor weather conditions
