As a body shop helper you will be responsible for a number of things throughout the shop.
Responsibilities included but not limited to the following:
- Working business hours Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
- Assist the fast-paced team
- Thoroughly check-in and check-out customer vehicles
- Valet customers as needed
- Deliver vehicles for sublet work as needed
- Take trash out for body and paint side of shop (break down cardboard boxes)
- Organization of shop (jacks stands carts etc.)
- Charging of vehicle scanners and shop battery chargers
- Grates cleaned out and flushed with water
- Eye wash station report sheets completed weekly
- Spray down shop floors and sweep
- Assist technicians & estimators with anything needed including vehicle teardowns reassembling vehicles clean parts for paint etc
Qualification:
- High school or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Passion for the automotive industry
- Eagerness to learn
- High motivation to work for a luxury brand
- Positive energy when interacting with customers
- Ability to work within a team maintaining focus and attention to detail at all times
- Excellent opportunity to move into other role within the dealership
Salary/Benefits:
- $12-$14 per hour depending on experience
- 401K medical dental and vision
