Position: Cheer Head Sponsor

Salary: Coaching addendums are based on a formula with several factors that relate to the individual coach and their position.

Job Summary:

To instruct all students in the fundamental skills and knowledge of cheerleading.
To provide an atmosphere for successful individual development through monitoring evaluating and reinforcing.
To provide a healthy and safe environment being sure to follow all UCSD#1 policies and procedures as theyrelateto activities.

Qualifications:

Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming
Have fundamental knowledge of cheerleading.
Ability to select from a variety of instruction methods to teach activity objectives.
Knowledge of CPR and First Aid. Certification must be provided.

Working Conditions:

Supervise all practices.
Supervise cheerleaders at all events.
Organize and conduct cheerleader tryouts.
Make arrangements for approved travel and supervise students on trips.
Help keep an accurate and up-to-date inventory.
Assume responsibility for the constant care of equipment and facilities used in the program.
Have a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations regarding the cheerleading program.
Perform other duties or tasks related to the cheerleading program as requested.
May be responsible for supervising students on out-of-town activities. This may involve staying overnight.
