Job Description
The candidate should have a strong technical background (experience working in Payment Gateway / Card Payments / Financial Services space will be a plus) should be a thought leader have exceptional organizational skills written and verbal communication skills and be an analytical and structured thinker. This individual must be able to think broadly about Visas business / Value Added Services business unit and drive the expansion of Visas Acceptance Solutions platform & offerings
The successful candidate will be the catalyst for innovation and operational excellence empowering teams to deliver impactful future-ready product solutions that drive the organizations success. Acting as a strategic enabler to the organization you will deliver scalable innovative and cohesive solutions that address complex business needs. You will be an integral member of the core team responsible for engaging with potential clients (through the RFP process) to understand their needs and create comprehensive & compelling proposals that can win business for the company. Your role will align with multi-quarter objectives and empower teams to achieve optimal delivery efficiency and impact
The candidate should possess a strong Technical background with demonstrated expertise in contributing to medium to large cross-functional projects. We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated excellence in the payments internet or related industries. The successful candidate must be a hands-on person with proven ability to engage in high bandwidth conversations with both business and technology executives
To be successful in this position this individual must be highly effective working both independently and in cross-functional capacities to provide a supporting role in identifying defining analyzing prioritizing and refining technology requirements across all categories. Successful candidates will be skilled at forging strong partnerships with business sponsors product owners architects and developers to support the development process. This function will address bottlenecks provide escalation management anticipate and make tradeoffs balance the business needs versus technical constraints to maximize business benefit
Beyond the design and planning stages of the development lifecycle strong Agile expertise is required to collaborate with Scrum teams during implementation phase
This role will also partner with the cross-functional leadership team to help define the roadmap priorities and ensure that it remains aligned with the broader strategy and priorities. This individual will foster innovation collaboration leverage new technologies and champion impactful change to build Visas technology brand through internal and external initiatives
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or a PhD.
Technical and Domain Expertise
- Experience in Java technologies API (SOAP & REST) and web development; background in Payment Gateway Card Payments or Financial Services (e.g. merchant/partner portals billing & reporting) is a plus.
- Proficiency in reviewing technical specifications user requirements and solution design documents to ensure alignment with project goals and to identify dependencies and risks.
- Experience using and implementing GenAI tools & platforms and a proven ability to foster new ideas and technologies that improve business processes.
Solutioning & Project Delivery
- Demonstrated experience managing and responding to RFPs understanding client requirements and delivering impactful scalable future-ready product solutions that address complex business needs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously aligning solutions with multi-quarter objectives.
- Strong organizational project management and documentation skills; able to create maintain and organize project solution documents with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Collaboration Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences including executives and cross-functional global teams.
- Strong collaboration partnership and stakeholder management skills; able to work effectively in agile team-oriented and multicultural environments driving consensus and empowering teams for optimal delivery.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with a strong customer-centric mindset and the ability to analyze data to inform decisions.
