Job Summary
The Region Manager will build maintain and lead district managers and develop highly motivated and results driven teams while supporting the client(s).
They will be responsible for developing the district managers to improve efficiencies execute company strategic initiatives and coach their teams. By increasing touch points in the field growth and development will be accelerated guest experience will improve and sales performance expectations will be surpassed.
Essential Functions
Manage Region business results. Maintain regular open communication with team to discuss business updates or current initiatives. Establish individual performance objectives with a high level of accountability. Coordinate Action Plans with District Manager to impact areas of business identified. Ensures Operational Excellence in all areas. Approves expense reports and time & attendance of direct reports and ensuring financial accountability. Establishes an environment of excellent client communications in context and cadence. Shares best practices with others to drive sales operational excellence and client satisfaction. Works closely with other company departments to ensure staffing levels optimized and talent acquisition opportunities identified. Collaborates with L & D for opportunities to improve development while improving guest experience. Partners with leadership on growth and expansion schedule to ensure objectives realized. Lead meeting facilitations and group training sessions. In the event of an open position in the Region serve as Proxy until replacement identified and secured. Serve as mentor to all new district managers that join team assist with on-boarding needs and assimilation to the job. Visits each district quarterly. (see attached)
Supervisory or Management Responsibility/Decision Making Level
Complete annual performance reviews as well as periodic reviews with direct reports. Hires leads and manages a team of 6 district managers. Communicates clear and specific job expectations and holding team accountable to expectations. Observe evaluate and provide timely and feedback regarding job performance. Communicates and manages succession planning for Region. Communicates client & MarketSource objectives to Region. Takes appropriate action to minimize turnover and improve retention.
Minimum Education and/or Experience
Bachelors Degree or related field required. 3-5 experience in retail sales environment.
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills
Must have a proven track record of success in sales and management. Demonstrated leadership motivational and organizational skills. Excellent written oral and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office and any other necessary platforms related to the job.
Additional Job Requirements
Ability to travel approximately 50%-75% of time in market with some overnight stays and/pr airline travel necessary. Performs additional job duties as assigned.
