Position Title:Commercial Sales Manager

Location: Dallas TX.

Your role

Digital Realty is expanding its high-performing sales team with the addition of a hunter-minded Commercial Sales Manager focused on net-new logo acquisition. In this role youll be responsible for sourcing qualifying and closing new business by aligning customer needs with Digital Realtys global colocation and interconnection platform. The ideal candidate thrives on proactive outreach has a passion for solving complex problems and excels at building relationships from scratchboth directly with customers and by leveraging key strategic partnerships to open doors and accelerate growth. What youll do

  • Identify target and actively pursue net-new logo opportunities within a defined territory or vertical using strategic outbound methods and data-driven prospecting
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process from initial outreach and discovery to proposal negotiation and close
  • Build and execute customized territory and account plans to penetrate high-value targets and align Digital Realtys solutions with their business needs
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teamsSales Engineering Commercial Management Customer Success and Sales Operationsto accelerate sales cycles and deliver a cohesive experience
  • Engage and co-sell with key partners and strategic alliances (e.g. hyperscalers systems integrators channel partners) to expand reach and unlock new customer opportunities
  • Manage inbound interest from Marketing and Partner teams and convert qualified leads into actionable sales conversations
  • Deliver a strong and compelling value proposition tailored to the technical and business goals of prospective customers
  • Track and manage all pipeline activity in Salesforce (SFDC) maintaining accurate records and ensuring visibility into opportunity status and forecast health
  • Maintain deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends to inform outreach strategies and positioning
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new revenue targets by maintaining a healthy well-qualified pipeline

What youll need

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience in acquisition or hunter sales roles ideally within data center telecom IT infrastructure or related technology environments
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing engaging and closing net-new business opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with strategic partners such as alliances resellers and cloud providers to drive co-selling motions and expand market penetration
  • Excellent outbound prospecting and cold-calling skills with a comfort level in engaging senior-level decision makers across IT and business functions
  • Strong solution selling capabilities and a consultative sales mindset
  • Skilled at managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Highly self-motivated goal-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced quota-driven environment
  • Proficient in Salesforce and committed to data accuracy activity tracking and pipeline hygiene
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to a variety of technical and executive audiences
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to plan prioritize and execute against both short-term targets and long-term territory goals
