Executive Assistant to the Heads of School
The Executive Assistant to the Heads of School at The Nueva School serves as a highly collaborative confidential strategic partner to the Head of School and Associate Head of School. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization diplomatic written and oral communication skills. This person will translate the strategic vision into actionable outcomes ensuring organizational alignment efficiency and excellence across all facets of the school. This individual will drive mission critical initiatives as a values led liaison to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will partner with all members of the administrative support team working in a fast paced innovative culture while managing confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Primary Responsibilities
Optimize the Heads and Associate Head of Schools strategic and tactical bandwidth by proactively managing calendars orchestrating high-level meetings across the San Mateo and Hillsborough campuses and managing essential documentation to ensure preparedness for mission critical discussions and engagements.
Guide the Administrative team colleagues to ensure alignment for all departments divisions and events while fostering a culture of accountability for institutional success
Facilitate highly effective Board of Trustees engagement by strategically preparing agendas curating comprehensive meeting materials meticulously tracking strategic action items and ensuring seamless communication including management of the Boards digital platform to empower informed generative and action-oriented governance.
Cultivate and strengthen key relationships with critical internal and external stakeholders including parents alumni community partners and vendors acting as a trusted ambassador and key communicator for the Heads of School and the school mission.
Lead the preparation and coordination senior leadership team meetings ensuring productive discussions clear decision-making and effective alignment on school priorities
Make logistical arrangements including catering for board and committee meetings and other special events hosted by the Heads of School
Maintain a mature and discreet professional demeanor with all community members and external partners as a high level representative of the school
Champion a highly flexible and proactive approach consistently demonstrating the capacity to re-prioritize and adapt swiftly to unforeseen challenges or ambiguous circumstances ensuring continuous progress and support for The Nueva Schools objectives.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience creating and managing budgets
Experience managing vendors service partners and providers
Demonstrated proficiency with Google suite and Microsoft Office with the ability to learn and use new technology on demand
A profound openness to feedback and improvement modeling lifelong learning of practice as well as subject area
Flexibility and creativity in working in a dynamic environment where new ideas mistakes and iteration are embraced
Compensation and Benefits
The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $110000 - $130000. The starting salary is based upon but not limited to several factors that include type and years of experience education level and expertise.
