Our Clubs offer comprehensive youth development programs both after school and during the summer in five different locations across Weld County including Eaton/Galeton Greeley and Milliken/Johnstown. Job Title: Director of Teen Services
Location: Greeley Teen Center
Reports To: COO


Job Function Overview:

The Director of Teen Services is directly responsible for ensuring the Greeley Teen Center supports between 70-100 teens in the Weld County community as they navigate their path to becoming productive caring and responsible citizens. This role champions teens in all communities we serve and is committed to creating opportunities that develop the 21st Century skills needed for a successful future after high school.


The Director will also lead a team of staff to maintain a clean safe and welcoming Teen Center helping ensure the new building continues to reflect the pride and quality of Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County (BGCWC).

Programming Responsibilities:

  • Advise a robust Keystone Club offering teens valuable leadership and service experience
  • Oversee monthly #WeOwnFriday Teen Nights
  • Lead and manage the annual Youth of the Year process
  • Ensure impactful engaging and high-yield programs are implemented daily across all Five Core Program Areas:
    • Education
    • Service & Leadership
    • The Arts
    • Sports & Recreation
    • Health & Wellness
  • Strategically plan and adapt programming to ensure BGCWC remains relevant and inspiring to todays teens

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Actively recruit teens in the community to join and engage with the Teen Center
  • Work closely with Clubhouse Directors and parents/guardians to support member retention through high school
  • Manage the daily operation of the Greeley Teen Center including staff supervision and scheduling
  • Ensure the facility remains clean orderly and well-maintained
  • Complete administrative duties including responding to emails phone calls meetings and outreach

Community Relations Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Teen Center tours for stakeholders advocating for the impact of our teen programming
  • Build strong relationships with community partners and youth development professionals (e.g. educators principals business owners social workers etc.)
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with parents/guardians
  • Partner with local youth-serving agencies and organizations

  • Willing to obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and drive a bus within the first 90 days of employment

Organizational Requirements:

  • Submit bi-weekly safety walkthrough reports to the Director of Child Safety
  • Drive Club vehicles as needed
  • Work special events as required occasionally outside of regular hours
  • Support board committees when assigned
  • Obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of employment
  • Maintain a valid drivers license and insurability to drive Club vehicles
  • Lead and support staff in creating a physically clean safe and welcoming environment
  • Demonstrate and uphold BGCWCs Core Values at all times
  • Must obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) within the first 6 months of employment and be willing to drive a bus as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Education Human Services Psychology Educational Leadership) or
  • Equivalent experience (minimum 4 years in management or youth development preferably in a nonprofit setting)
