About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a temporary full-time relief Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our dynamic Supply Chain (Production/Distribution) team.
The Production team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by processing whole blood collections to the final products and the Distribution team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by performing duties in manufacturing releasing and distributing blood products. In this role you will perform a variety of duties related to the blood and blood product inventories including reviewing and identifying phenotype red blood cell patient specific requirements transformation as a result of irradiation washing freezing or deglycerolizing product returns and recalls hospital blood bank customer service assisting with reviewing and coordinating associated processes and ensuring standards and records are maintained.
