Maintenance Manager
Location: Miami preferred (open to other U.S. locations with regular travel)

Compensation: $130000 $150000
A fast-growing Part 135 charter and aircraft management operation is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead daily fleet maintenance activities. This is a leadership role that also requires active involvement in maintenance control troubleshooting and fleet support. Ideal candidates have experience in Part 135 or Part 91 environments and are ready to contribute in a dynamic fast-paced setting.
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team
Oversee maintenance activities across the fleet with a focus on Challenger 300/350 aircraft
Support troubleshooting technical decision-making and maintenance scheduling
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and internal policies
Manage and track scheduled/unscheduled maintenance MELs and deferrals
Serve as the communication link between flight operations technicians vendors and leadership
Provide timely updates and reports on aircraft status and maintenance progress
Mentor and support technician development promoting a culture of accountability and performance
Assist with vendor coordination parts sourcing and maintenance planning
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for operational reliability and efficiency
Step in to provide hands-on technical support when necessary
5 years of aircraft maintenance experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Experience in Part 135 or Part 91 operations
Direct experience with Challenger 300/350 aircraft (required)
In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations MEL/CDL procedures and maintenance documentation
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Proficiency with digital maintenance tracking systems
Highly organized with the ability to manage shifting priorities
Willingness to be available for off-hours operational needs
Valid A&P Certificate
Experience with avionics troubleshooting or installations
Exposure to mixed fleet environments
Familiarity with systems like CAMP Flightdocs or TRAXALL
Location: Miami is preferred but strong candidates from other U.S. regions will be considered if they can travel regularly
Work authorization: U.S. citizens and green card holders preferred; candidates on long-term visas with a clear path to extension and future citizenship may also be considered
