Job Description

We are a team of innovative problem-solvers dedicated to revolutionizing warehouse automation through innovative solutions at Amazons scale. This dynamic team develops and maintains tools for automating the deployment management and monitoring of complex material handling systems including conveyor networks robotic workcells and industrial control systems.
We are seeking a passionate Front-End engineer to innovate in building Human Machine Interfacing Platforms to join the AIT team within the Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Robotics organization.
Amazons Operations Technology teams are the technical engines that support Amazons mission of being Earths most customer-centric company. We build the software and services that touch every Amazon customer globally and innovate solutions for logistics supply chain optimization and transportation. If you are a Front-End development engineer with a creative flare problem-solving skills exposure to various technologies such as Machine Learning and/or Controls Programming we want to talk with you.
For additional information on Operations Technology: job responsibilities
- Analyze user challenges and compose a solution with clear software and UX design actions
- Design and build scalable front-end infrastructure using Amazon and AWS tools
- Write automated UI tests
- Instrument software with real user metrics to reflect the customer experience
- Follow best practices for user experience and insist on high standards
- Contribute to estimation and planning of work
- Mentor and educate other engineers on best practices for UX design and front-end infrastructure
About the team

Our robotics teams around the world are driving improvements in the safety and autonomy of our worldwide operations. We re-imagine what now looks like.
- 4 years of non-internship professional front end web or mobile software development using JavaScript HTML and CSS experience
- 5 years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience
- Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. AngularJS Vue)
- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP HTTP WSDL XSD and REST
- Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
- Knowledge of security technology and concepts (Authentication Authorization Single sign-on Cryptography etc.)
- Experience in defining experiments and analyzing metrics to inform design/UX optimization efforts
