Job Description
Job Summary:
This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager and is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all inbound shipments. Also responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse and operating all warehouse equipment in a safe manner. As part of the materials team this position will also assist in the stockroom and shipping as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all incoming shipments (including RMAs)
Responsible for the timely delivery of orders to their respective department
Responsible for the effective communication with the Purchasing team to resolve PO issues this includes actively following up
Effectively use the ERP system to record all transactions and perform daily tasks
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
Proficiently operate all warehouse equipment and follow all safety procedures
Elevate issues and concerns to Supervisor in a timely and effective manner
Assist the materials team as needed
Demonstrate a positive attitude and respect for co-workers; conduct oneself with a high level of professionalism
Perform other duties as requested directed or assigned by Supervisor
Job Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent required
Good computer skills and basic math skills required
Some receiving experience in a factory environment preferred
Must be able to be forklift certified (company will provide training)
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Must be organized and detail oriented
Must be able to read interpret and follow instructions procedures and relevant documents
Must be able to effectively communicate throughout the organization in a professional manner

Factory environment

Personal Protective Equipment:
Use of safety glasses
Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers
